  3. Multimedia World LIVE!, The Multimedia Magazine for the rest of your brain, 
  4. provides hundreds of megabytes of new information and resources for you and your 
  5. computer every month. Multimedia World LIVE! presents multimedia elements to use
  6. and enjoy in every department; to take full advantage of them, your computer will 
  7. need the following system configuration:

  10.   - 486/33 or higher processor
  11.   - 640x480 16 bit color display
  12.   - 8MB RAM
  13.   - Double Speed CD-ROM Drive
  14.   - 16 bit Sound Card with speakers or headphones
  15.   - Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher
  16.   - MS DOS 5.0 or later

  19. Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine is ready for you to explore. Page through articles
  20. and tutorials filled with information plus music, sounds, photos, movies,
  21. software and narratives that make each story come alive!

  23. Getting Started with Multimedia World LIVE!
  24. The Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine will run directly from the CD-ROM; however, for 
  25. optimal performance, run the Setup application to install Startup and other necessary 
  26. files to your hard drive. This procedure will create a MMWLIVE2 directory 
  27. on your system including the Multimedia World LIVE! Startup and other applications. 
  28. Note you do not have to reinstall with each monthly Multimedia World LIVE! disc; we 
  29. will alert you to upgrades as needed.

  31. Installing Multimedia World LIVE!
  32. 1. Insert the Multimedia World LIVE! disc into your CD-ROM drive.
  33. 2. From Windows 3.1, install Multimedia World LIVE! to your hard drive:
  34.     - Using Program Manager, choose the RUN command from the File menu.
  35.     - Enter D:\SETUP (replacing D with the letter of your CD-ROM drive).
  36.    From Windows 95, open Start on the taskbar, select Run, and type in D:\Setup.exe 
  37. (which is the CD-ROM drive letter, colon, backslash, and the installation application 
  38. named Setup.exe).
  39. 3. Then follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

  41. Running Multimedia World LIVE!
  42. 1.  Be sure the disc is in the CD-ROM drive.
  43. 2.  From Program Manager, double click Multimedia World LIVE! icon.
  44. 3.  You're multimedia experience begins.

  46. (PLEASE NOTE: There are additional instructions on the packaging sleeve that do not apply 
  47. to this version of the disc.  Please disregard them.)

  50. Using Multimedia World LIVE!
  51. Open the Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine. On the cover you'll find a video overview of the 
  52. disc. Then from the next page--the Table of Contents--you can select any of the five 
  53. departments of the Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine.
